Mumbai: Diwali is a festival that brings people closer and gives them a chance to take a break from their busy routines. For actor Lokit Phulwani, who is currently seen in Oh Humnava! Tum Dena Saath Mera produced by Studio LSD, the festival is all about spending quality time with family, enjoying festive traditions and creating happy memories with loved ones.
Talking about his plans for Diwali this year, Lokit shares, “Diwali is always special, and for me, it’s more about spending quality time with family and loved ones. Given our hectic schedules, festivals are a lovely opportunity to slow down, take a break and enjoy these little moments together. I enjoy the festive atmosphere, dressing up, good food and, of course, meeting friends and family. I think a celebration is complete when you’re surrounded by people who matter to you. So, I’d say a mix of both, but family definitely comes first.”
Being part of a television show often means working through festivals due to demanding shooting schedules. However, Lokit believes that the festive spirit remains alive even on the sets. He adds, “Thankfully, the festive spirit doesn’t really take a backseat even when you’re busy shooting. We all understand how demanding our schedules can be, but we try to make the most of whatever time we get. The best part about working on a show is that your co-stars and crew gradually become like an extended family. I’m sure we’ll find some time to share festive wishes, enjoy some sweets and create a few happy memories together. Even small celebrations on set make the festival feel special.”

For the actor, Diwali is also a time to look back at the year gone by with gratitude and welcome new opportunities. Sharing what he is thankful for and his wishes for the coming year, Lokit says, “I think this year has given me a lot to be grateful for, both personally and professionally. I’m grateful for the opportunities I’ve received, the people I’ve met and, most importantly, the love and support I’ve received from the audience. As an actor, there’s always something new to learn, and I feel every experience helps you grow.”
Talking about his aspirations, he further adds, “Going forward, I wish for good health, happiness and peace for my family and everyone around me. Professionally, I’d love to explore different characters, take up challenging projects and keep pushing myself as an actor. Ultimately, I just want to keep growing, enjoying my journey and making the people who believe in me proud. I wish everyone a very happy and prosperous Diwali.”
